Rufo, Data Privacy in Volcanic Hazard Scenarios, in EGU 2024This paper aims to analyse the use of artificial intelligence tools to implement an active contact tracing system for individuals living in at-risk territories. Thus, not only a ‘state of alert’ communication system, but a ‘contact tracing’ system similar to that used in some States during the SARS pandemic COVID-19.

Iacopino, Precaution and prevention in the jurisprudence of the administrative judge, in EGU 2024This paper aims to analyse the path of administrative jurisprudence on how the principles of prevention and precaution behave, the role they assume for the public decision-maker and the judge’s review. In this perspective, priority is given to examining the nature and ratio of the two principles, as well as the relationship between them.
